Split Debt Better!

A simple debt simplifier that can reduce any number of transactions among n people to n-1 transactions.

How to use

Use the form below to enter debt relationships and group members. Follow these steps:

1. Click "Add Who Paid" to add a new debt entry. For each entry:
   • The first field is who was paid, defaults to "Everyone" if someone paid for the whole group. 
     You can change this to a specific person's name if needed.
   • Enter the name of who paid in the second field.
   • Enter the amount paid in the third field.

2. Click "Add Rest of Group" to add any additional group members who didn't pay 
   but are part of the debt splitting. You can only add this once.

3. Use the "Remove" buttons to delete any entries you no longer need.

4. Once you've entered all the debt relationships and group members, click "Submit"  to generate the simplified debt graph.
        

The resulting graph will show the simplified debt relationships, reducing the number of transactions needed to settle all debts.
